Early Detection and 24/7 Human Intervention
Verisure Security Systems are connected to our fully licensed Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) to allow a rapid human response to any alarm event. Security experts in the ARC can actively intervene in the event of a burglary, deploying the ZeroVision Smoke Screen and/or dispatching private security guards to your property. Our security experts in the ARC are always available to help, 24/7. We respond to alarm activation's and emergencies situations, on average, in 45 seconds.
In the case of an emergency, the ARC can also request police, fire brigade or any other emergency services on your behalf.
If a burglary or crime is taking place, police will always be alerted.
ZeroVision Smoke Screen
The ZeroVision Smoke Screen is a unique security device that can be remotely deployed in the event of a burglary, creating a zero-visibility smokescreen to impair a burglar's vision and force them to leave the area.

How Does Verisure ZeroVision Work?
Intrusions are verified by trained experts in the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). Once activated, ZeroVision deploys a dense, zero-visibility smokescreen in seconds.
The non-toxic smoke completely blocks vision, forcing intruders to leave or wait until police arrive. The ARC alerts police, the customer, and dispatches a guard.

When a sensor is triggered—whether by a door being forced, motion detected, or an SOS button being pressed—an encrypted signal is sent to the ARC.
- Response Time: Verisure aims to respond to alarm signals within an average of 45 seconds.

A security specialist at the ARC takes charge of the alert. They use the system's hardware to "verify" if the threat is real:
- Visual Check: They access high-quality images from the Photo Detector cameras. Note: They can only access these images after an alarm is triggered to protect your privacy.
- Audio Check: The specialist uses the VoicePad (the control panel) to listen to what is happening or to speak directly into the room.
- Differentiating Threats: The human operator determines if it is a false alarm (like a pet or an accidental trigger) or a genuine emergency (burglary, fire, or medical).
If the threat is confirmed, the specialist doesn't just watch—they intervene.
- Direct Warning: They can speak through the VoicePad to warn the intruder that they are being recorded and that the police have been called.
- ZeroVision Smoke Barrier: In systems equipped with this, the operator can remotely deploy a dense, non-toxic smoke barrier that reduces visibility to zero rapidly, forcing the intruder to leave or stopping them in their tracks.
Once verified, the human operator coordinates the "boots on the ground" response:
- Police/Fire/Ambulance: The ARC contacts the emergency services on your behalf. Because the alert is "visually verified" by a human.
- Private Security Guard: Verisure can dispatch a private security guard to your property to secure the site, check for damage, and wait for the police or the homeowner to arrive.
The ARC specialist stays on the line (via the VoicePad or your mobile) until help arrives. They also notify your pre-registered emergency contacts and provide updates through the My Verisure app.
